Dental Hygienist (Retired 2022)
My Precious Dental Family,
It is with joy and sadness that I am retiring after 40 years of practicing dental hygiene and being at this practice for over 27 years. It has been my honor and privilege to not only be your hygienist, but your friend and a part of your family! In several families, I have been able to see 3 generations and watch them grow up. We have celebrated the accomplishments and joys of life and we have cried and prayed together through the hard times that have come.
There is no way that I could thank you for all the love you have given me and the support and confidence you have had in me. You all have made such a huge impact on my life in such special ways that I’m just not able to find the words to express it. You have given me many wonderful memories that I will always treasure in my heart! I hope that I have, in return, made some positive differences in your lives and memories of our time together will linger for a long time.
While you already know that you are in the most special dental office, possibly in the world, our practice would be nothing if not for you! Our patients are what makes us special and set apart from other offices and I’m blessed to say that I have had the chance to know so many of you and can state this as fact – you are all incredible!
Know that I will miss you and I thank you for making my 27 years here so special. I love you all!

She loves to camp, hike, play board games, travel, and enjoy her children.
Tami comes to us from way out west, northern California, joining us in the upstate in early 2020 with her husband, a children’s dentist, and two adult children. A practicing dental hygienist for 28 years, she received her BSDH from Loma Linda University School of Dentistry. She enjoys making patients feel comfortable in the dental chair and educating them on good oral hygiene with tips and habits that are realistic for them. When not in the dental office, she loves traveling with her family anywhere and everywhere, from our beautiful national parks to overseas destinations. And to answer your question, no she doesn’t mind the humidity! She looks forward to seeing you in our office with what she considers one of the best dental teams she has ever worked with.
CoraMarie’s entry into the world of dentistry began at the tender age of 16, when she worked a summer in a dental office learning basic duties. Four years later, she graduated with a degree in Dental Hygiene in California, where she first worked as a hygienist. She later moved near the Canadian Rockies where she became practice coordinator of a successful Calgary dental office. Years later, she established a dental consulting firm. Her warm and friendly approach can be attributed to a life spent helping patients, clients, and her role as a mother of 3 amazing kids! In 2020 CoraMarie relocated to South Carolina. She is now thoroughly enjoying her work with Dr. Smith and Dr. Rackley.
