Looking for the Best Greenville Dentist for your family?
Dr. Eric S. Rackley has been a part of our practice family since May of 2018 and has been serving
patients in the upstate since 2017. “I’m not from here, but I got here as soon as I could!” he
often says. A proud alumnus of Clemson University, Eric told his parents in the seventh grade
he wanted to go to Clemson one day and leave the snowy winters of Pittsburgh behind. After
graduating from the Clemson Honors College, Eric attended the Medical University of South
Carolina for his Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree, where he finished among the top of
his class.
Providing exceptional quality care with compassion and open communication is vital to Dr.
Rackley. He believes that when you are a patient of The Office of Keenan W. Smith, you are a
part of the family, and you deserve to be treated that way.
Dr. Rackley is committed to continually refining his craft. He has trained at several institutes for
advanced dental education including the Pankey Institute, Spear Education, and the Kois
Center. Dr. Rackley is constantly learning through hundreds of hours of continuing education
each year and multiple study groups. In 2021, Dr. Rackley became one of youngest dentists in
the country to earn his designation as a Fellow in the Academy of General Dentists as well as a
Diplomate in the American Board of Dental Sleep Medicine. As an active member of the
American Academy of Cosmetic Dentists of Dr. Rackley’s favorite things to do for his patients is
provide them with a smile transformation.
Outside the practice, Eric enjoys running and hiking, spending time with friends, and he loves
being with his family. He and his wife, Chandler, had their first child in 2021, their daughter
Macall. Eric and Chandler have loved making Greenville their home and getting connected to
the community. They are members at Grace Church, Downtown, and like Dr. Smith, share a
passion for service and dental missions. Dr. Rackley has been on several dental missions trips
and is eager to continue to serve both locally and internationally.
